The Choirs of Trinity Church
Sunday, June 30 | 6pm Eucharist
At the heart of worship at Trinity Church are four choirs. The Trinity Choristers (30+ singers, ages 8 – 18) are joined by the adult Schola for the Sunday 9:00 Eucharist. The Trinity Choir (adults) typically sings for 11:15 Morning Prayer. At the 6:00 Eucharist are the combined Trinity Evening Choir and Compline Choir. Nine professional staff singers serve in various configurations within these choirs. On Wednesdays the Choristers sing Evensong, with a chorister serving as officiant. Deeply committed to their mission to lead God’s people in worship, the choirs also maintain an active schedule of concerts, tours and recordings. In August they will make their fourth tour to England, with weeklong residencies at Wells and Salisbury Cathedrals. Previous tours have included residencies at Lincoln, Ely, Chichester, Winchester and St. Paul’s Cathedrals and Westminster Abbey. They have sung for the late President George H.W. and Mrs. Bush and have been featured at conventions of the AGO, ACDA, and the Consortium of Endowed Episcopal Parishes.
